Acorn Foundation Engineering Ltd are a civil Engineering Company operating in a specialist field of piling and underpinning throughout the North of England. Based in both Lancashire and Yorkshire we are able to provide a service for customers that is bespoke to their needs. Within the Company there are 4 divisions, each specialising in their own field: Mini Piling and Underpinning For more than a decade the Company has laid down solid foundations and gained partnerships with a number of major insurers, Blue Chip Housing Companies, Commercial Developers and general building contractors. The Company is proud to be a member of ASUCplus, an Association of Companies able to offer a 12 year insurance backed guarantee. Mr Andrew Hall, the Managing Director of AFE Ltd is an executive committee member and the Associations Training Committee representative. A combination of experience, enthusiasm and investment in new technology has been a driver in AFE’s success. We embrace new technology and systems investing heavily in research and development. This investment has enabled us over the past years to be the first company to introduce a truly quite top drive hydraulic piling rig and also develop a range of pre-cast concrete piles ranging from 235mm2 to 150mm2 mini piles with full BBA accreditation. We continue to expand our services and offer the best possible service to our clients, our aim to provide practical foundation solutions on a scale that you require.
